Overview
Excellent role with an established and highly regarded legal services firm who are seeking to appoint an experienced Solicitor to join their Motor & Fraud team in Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor looking to develop their career within a successful and supportive team, working on a varied caseload of interesting and complex insurance matters.
The successful candidate will join a strong team handling a broad range of motor, fraud and insurance-related claims, with the opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
The role will involve managing a varied caseload from inception through to resolution, including both pre-litigation and litigated matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing a caseload of motor and fraud-related claims
Conducting investigations, reviewing evidence and liaising with witnesses and experts
Drafting pleadings, witness statements and settlement documentation
Providing strategic legal advice to clients
Representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings where required
Ensuring compliance with professional, regulatory and client requirements
Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, case law and industry developments
Essential Skills and Experience
Qualified Solicitor with ideally 16 years PQE
Experience within motor, fraud, insurance litigation or defendant litigation
Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation processes
Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills
Strong client care skills with the ability to deliver high-quality legal advice
Experience dealing with complex or high-value claims would be advantageous.
