Job Description:
LIVE IN AVAILABLE 3 MILES AWAY FROM THE PUB, OWN TRANSPORT ESSENTIAL
We are looking for an experienced, ambitious and enthusiastic CDP, with high standards and a true passion for great food and people, to join our fantastic pub! This could be your first step up from a Commi chef role or your next challenge as a current CDP. Supporting the Head & Sous Chef in the running of the kitchen operations, delivering a consistent high food quality. You will work alongside the kitchen team in the organising, growing and day-to-day operations of your kitchen. Having a real say in the food of which you serve whether that be on the next menu or daily specials boards. Only using the best suppliers in a well-equipped kitchen all alongside a real work life balance! This role is ideal for an ambitious chef looking for a career within the group with a real opportunity for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining and forging excellent relationships with suppliers
Supervise stock control and menu specs
Overall daily responsibility for the daily kitchen operations, including training of junior chefs
Foster a culture of camaraderie and respect between all team members
Ensure that the kitchen complies with all health and safety, due diligence, food safety and hygiene standards
Responsible for ensuring all kitchen equipment is maintained and used in a safe and correct manner
Deliver a consistent level of service in a clean and professional environment
Qualifications and Key Attributes:
Working proficiency in English is essential
Previous experience in Commi role or higher
Positive, can-do mentality
