Cnc Turner

Proactive Personnel are looking for a skilled CNC Turner to start work for our client on a permanent basis based in Chorley, Lancashire.

Duties include:

* Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.

* Working on large components using horizontal and vertical turning centres.

* Carrying out dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment.

* Using CAD/CAM systems (available for the right candidate).

* Maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

* Meeting production deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Candidate Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in CNC turning.

* Strong programming skills using Fanuc controls.

* Experience machining large, heavy components.

* Fully competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

* Able to work to tight tolerances.

* Strong quality focus and attention to detail.

* Flexible approach to working hours (overtime may be required).

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

The hours of work are Monday - Thursday 07:15am - 17:15pm.

Pay is £17.04p/h.
