Head Chef - Luxury Hotel & Wedding Venue (Northumberland) Ambitious, talented Head Chef required to lead a well-equipped kitchen at a luxury hotel and wedding venue in the stunning Northumberland countryside . This is a high-profile role where you will help shape menus, elevate standards, and deliver exceptional guest dining experiences across fine dining, bespoke weddings, and private events.

The venue includes a Four Silver AA Star hotel and an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant , with a strong focus on fine dining and memorable hospitality.
Key Responsibilities Lead, inspire and develop the kitchen team to deliver consistently high standards across all service periods
Own the delivery of all menus , ensuring quality and presentation for: À la carte dining
Bespoke weddings
Private events and function menus

Maintain AA Rosette level standards through excellent food quality, menu execution and kitchen hygiene
Ensure effective day-to-day kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering, and waste reduction
Train and coach team members to uphold service discipline, preparation standards and allergen compliance
Collaborate with management on special event requirements, seasonal menus, and dining concepts
Drive a positive, professional kitchen culture with strong communication and accountability
Maintain health and safety, food safety and compliance processes at all times
What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Head Chef or senior chef leader in a high-standard venue (hotel/restaurant/events preferred)
Strong background in fine dining and menu delivery, with the ability to execute wedding and banqueting service to a premium standard
Demonstrable leadership skills: coaching teams, building capability and maintaining consistency
A creative approach to seasonal menus with excellent attention to detail
Calm xwzovoh under pressure with the ability to manage multiple covers and event demand
Knowledge of food safety systems, allergen management and stock control
