About the role
Position
Credit Controller – Part-time, permanent, office based
Location
Caerphilly
Salary & Hours
£24,166.00 pro rata (£13,332.80 per annum equivalent). 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00 am–2:00 pm (no evenings or weekends).
Responsibilities
- Calls are via our predictive dialler on different campaigns.
- Calls to facilitate payment of near‑due payments and outstanding arrears.
- Collecting aged debt and taking steps to proactively reduce debt in its early stages.
- Responding to calls in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Experience with credit control or office-based cash collection is preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills, assertive and respectful.
- Ability to effectively prioritise in a busy environment.
- Professional, polite, respectful, and confident – essential for a credit control role.
