Fire Alarm Engineer – Small Works & Servicing Salary: £50,000 per annum Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm Location: London & surrounding areas A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join a well-established, BAFE-approved Fire & Security contractor. The successful candidate will primarily carry out small works, second fixing, commissioning and servicing of fire alarm systems across London and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities * Installing, second fixing and commissioning fire alarm systems * Carrying out planned servicing and maintenance * Fault finding, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently * Ensuring systems are installed, commissioned and maintained to the highest standards * Ensuring all work complies with BS 5839, current fire safety regulations and company procedures * Completing works professionally and providing a high standard of service to clients Requirements * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer * Strong working knowledge of BS 5839 and other relevant standards * Competent in installing and commissioning fire alarm systems * Strong fault-finding and servicing skills * Full UK driving licence * Valid ECS/CSCS card * Own hand and power tools * Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of workmanship Package * £50,000 per annum * 8:00am – 4:00pm working hours * London & surrounding areas * Opportunity to join an established, BAFE-approved Fire & Security contractor This position would suit an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer looking for a role focused on small works, commissioning, servicing and maintenance
