Civil Engineer - Wastewater Infrastructure Location: Brighton Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 Join a leading consultancy as a Civil Engineer - Wastewater Infrastructure and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of wastewater networks in Brighton and beyond. The Opportunity This is a chance to join a rapidly growing engineering consultancy, where you will be part of an expanding detailed design team. As a Civil Engineer - Wastewater Infrastructure, you will work on projects that include the design and delivery of sewerage rising mains, trunk sewers, and wastewater pipeline rehabilitation. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with an initial induction period in Slough. Key Responsibilities - Support the detailed design and delivery of wastewater networks. - Ensure technical input into pipeline rehabilitation and renewal projects. - Assist with design development, planning, and optioneering of infrastructure schemes. - Develop designs for pumping stations, rising mains, and gravity sewer systems. - Liaise with water utility companies, contractors, and regulatory bodies. - Provide technical input into contractor methodologies and construction planning. Candidate Requirements - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. - Minimum of 2 years' experience in UK-based wastewater pipeline design. - Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modelling software such as InfoWorks ICM. - Full UK driving licence and willingness to attend site visits.
