About the role

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), specialists in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities, is looking for a Part‑Time Sales Administrator who is as passionate about great service as we are.

Working Hours – Monday to Friday: 9 am – 2 pm
Bernard Street, Glasgow, G40 3NX

Key Responsibilities

  • Use our in‑house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
  • Get to know our product lines and services to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our values
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, both face‑to‑face and over the phone, understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so you can deliver the best experience possible
  • Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

Required Skills & Experience

  • Computer literate and confident computer user; systems will be taught but knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
  • A confident communicator in person, over the phone or by email
  • Experienced working in a customer‑facing, sales‑office‑based or administration role
  • Flexible, able to have a hands‑on approach to work; happy to work in various departments within a fast‑paced, busy branch
  • A great team player; ready to support colleagues and customers when needed
  • Ambitious, looking for progression and wants to make a career for themselves
  • Booking in stock and invoice batching
