In this role, youll be responsible for delivering a high standard of repairs, maintenance and planned and unplanned works across a residential property, ensuring the building, communal areas, grounds and equipment are maintained to a high standard.

Youll diagnose and resolve a variety of maintenance issues, including plumbing, carpentry, joinery, painting and decorating, lighting and general building repairs.

Youll also support statutory compliance, health and safety requirements and the effective management of external contractors.

Key Responsibilities Carry out reactive repairs and planned maintenance across the property.

Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues to a high standard.

Undertake general repairs including plumbing, joinery, carpentry, painting, decorating and lighting.

Maintain hot and cold water systems, sanitary appliances and soil and waste drainage.

Assist with the maintenance of electrical, fire alarm, emergency lighting and security systems.

Maintain communal areas, refuse and recycling facilities, grounds and external areas to a high standard.

Requirements Right to work in the UK Recognised trade qualification, Building Crafts Operative Certificate, City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification relevant to building repairs and maintenance.

Trade background in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry or general building maintenance.

Previous experience carrying out repairs and maintenance within a domestic residential environment or residential construction.

Good awareness of health and safety requirements.
