To manage complex and strategic IT projects for the UK businessWork closely with clients and stakeholders to effectively shape, mobilise and deliver project outcomesWork with other IT functions and business customers to deliver an outstanding IT service to the Crawford businessDrive robust best practice processes and excellence in project deliveryDemonstrates interpersonal skills required to successfully work in a team environment and communicate effectively across a variety of stakeholder groupsAbility to identify opportunities and transform them into quantifiable and achievable initiativesMust be a dynamic and self-starting individual who is able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal guidance and directionMust be able to continuously learn new skills to keep abreast of industry trends and new technologiesMust be able to effectively prioritize and assign work in order to meet deadlinesMust be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users at all levels of the organisationProject Management experience of IT projects including:

Knowledge of insurance, claims or other transactional business process and systemsBusiness architecture experienceRelevant professional qualifications beneficial (for example Agile Accreditation, PRINCE2 etc)Traditional and agile methodologiesProject management best practicesProject planning and reportingVendor managementInternal and external stakeholder management and communications including clientsConfidence managing client-facing projects with a defined scopeExperience of agile and traditional project delivery methodologiesAbility to control and manage project management plans through the entire project life cycleAbility to quickly understand client requirements and business objectivesSufficient understanding of application and infrastructure technologies to work effectively with technical teamsAbility to understand and support in house systems and adapt to rapidly changing software.Able to make pragmatic proposals that balance differing project requirements and constraintsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent presentation skillsWork collaboratively with clients, Crawford business operations and IT to deliver complex changesUtilise best practices in project management and agile project deliveryEnsure senior stakeholders have the right information to make informed decisionsPlan significant milestones across a number of workstreams ensuring relevant dependencies are identified and managedCreate and maintain roll out schedules and track progress, ensuring key stakeholders are kept up to dateIdentify key risks and issues early, building an effective approach to mitigation, securing support of stakeholders where necessaryCoach others and help them understand the rationale for a technical approachConduct post implementation reviews to drive a culture of continuous improvementManage client relationships and vendors in relation to project deliveryWork with stakeholders, functional areas and business analysts to develop business requirementsManage project budgetsWork closely with the management team to produce accurate delivery estimates and prioritise workload in line with release schedulesIdentify and resolve gaps in skills, processes, and resourcesFull timePosting Date: 2026-08-13
