Groundworker

Groundworkers  Location: Guildford, Surrey Start: ASAP Duration: Until October/November 2026 Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:30 Paid Hours: 9.5 hours per day Red Sky Personnel is currently recruiting 4 experienced Groundworkers for an ongoing civil engineering project on a Thames Water site in Guildford. We are looking for experienced groundworkers with a solid civils background. Ideally, candidates will also have previous pipelaying and drainage experience. Duties General groundworks and civil engineering duties Pipe laying and drainage works Excavation and trench preparation Installation of underground services Bedding, laying and backfilling pipes Working around manholes and drainage systems Working safely alongside plant and other site teams Following all site health & safety procedures Requirements Valid Thames Water Passport – essential Valid CSCS/CPCS card, as applicable Minimum 3 years' groundworks experience Pipelaying and drainage experience preferred Previous civils, utilities or infrastructure experience Good understanding of site health & safety Able to provide relevant work references If you are available to start ASAP and hold a valid Thames Water Passport, please apply with your CV or contact Red Sky Personnel for further details
