Health & Safety Advisor Location: Northern Ireland (with occasional travel across Ireland) Type: Full-Time Salary : Fully Negotiable Depending on Experience About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and career-driven Health & Safety Advisor to join a growing construction and project delivery business. The Role Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, supporting compliance initiatives, and ensuring best practice is embedded across project teams. Key Responsibilities Support the development and continuous improvement of HSEQ systems and procedures Assist with incident, near miss, and non-conformance reporting and investigations Conduct site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews across multiple projects Review and support Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) Monitor health and safety compliance and identify opportunities for improvement Coordinate training requirements and maintain competency records Support ISO management systems, including quality, environmental, and health & safety standards Work closely with operational teams to promote safe systems of work Assist with internal audits and compliance reporting Contribute to company-wide health and safety initiatives and awareness campaigns About You You will be an organised and motivated health and safety professional with a practical approach and strong attention to detail. Essential Requirements NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Minimum 2 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within construction, engineering, or a related industry Good understanding of construction health and safety legislation Experience conducting audits, inspections, and compliance reviews Knowledge of ISO management systems ) Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Full UK driving licence Personal Qualities Proactive and eager to develop professionally Strong organisational skills Excellent problem-solving ability Able to work independently and collaboratively Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-moving environment Positive, practical, and solutions-focused mindset What's on Offer?
