Compliance Manager - Perm

I'm exclusively recruiting for a Compliance Manager with a specialist reinsurance business in the London market. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong reinsurance compliance experience who wants to take ownership of a broad compliance remit. They're open to someone stepping up into their first management role, as well as an experienced Compliance Manager. What the role covers:Owning the compliance policies and procedures framework and annual Compliance Monitoring PlanFCA regulatory reporting end-to-end, including internal review and approvalLicensing documentation, permissions and renewals across the operating entitiesBroker TOBA management and annual broker checksManaging the outsourced compliance providerCoordinating internal audits and external control testingGovernance and company secretarial support, including Board and committee coordinationCompliance training, Board reporting and issue managementSupporting the reinsurance entity and European branch/operationsWhat they're looking for:Reinsurance experience is essentialCompliance experience within an insurer or reinsurer, ideally within the London marketStrong, hands-on FCA regulatory reporting experienceSomeone comfortable getting into the detail and managing the day-to-day compliance agendaInternational / European entity or branch experience would be beneficialUseful but not essential: SOX control testing, GDPR/privacy exposure and OneTrust (or similar).Visit the IDEX Consulting Ltd website for further opportunities.
