An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Banking & Finance Solicitor to lead and develop the Birmingham banking practice of a highly regarded national law firm. This strategic appointment offers the chance to head a successful team, work alongside nationally recognised specialists and play a key role in the continued growth of one of the firm\'s core commercial practice areas.

The Role

• As Head of Banking & Finance, you will take responsibility for leading a busy and well-established practice advising an impressive client base of banks, alternative lenders, financial institutions, corporate borrowers, developers and investors.
• You will advise on a broad range of secured and unsecured lending transactions, acquisition finance, real estate finance, development finance, refinancing, asset-based lending and corporate banking matters.
• Working closely with colleagues across the firm\'s corporate, real estate, restructuring and insolvency teams, you will deliver commercially focused advice on complex, high-value transactions while driving the continued growth of the Birmingham practice.
• You will also play a pivotal role in developing client relationships, winning new work, mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the firm\'s wider national banking strategy.

The Candidate

• Applications are invited from ambitious Banking & Finance Solicitors with extensive experience gained within a leading regional, national or international law firm.
• You will possess excellent technical ability, strong commercial awareness and an established network within the Midlands market.
• Previous experience leading teams, developing client relationships and generating new business will be highly advantageous.
• This opportunity will suit an existing Partner or an ambitious Legal Director seeking a genuine route into a leadership role with the support and infrastructure of a successful national practice.
