An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Payroll Advisor to join a leading not-for-profit organisation based in South Oxfordshire. Working within the Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (16 -20 hours per week), you will support the Payroll Manager in delivering an accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll from start to finish.

The role requires attendance in the office two days per week, with flexibility to work from home for the remainder of your hours.
Your new role
Support the end-to-end processing of payroll across the full employee life cycle.
Assist the Payroll Manager in delivering accurate and timely payroll services.
Process payroll changes including starters, leavers, contractual changes, absences and payroll amendments.
Administer workplace pension schemes and ensure compliance with pension regulations.
Ensure payroll activities are compliant with UK payroll legislation and internal policies.
Liaise with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll data is accurate and up to date.
Resolve payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain payroll records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
Support payroll reporting, reconciliations and month-end activities.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience of processing UK payroll successfully.
Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
Essential experience administering workplace pensions.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to adapt confidently within a changing working environment.
Experience processing medium to large payrolls would be highly advantageous.
What you'll get in return
A salary of £33,253 to £34,315 per annum, pro rata.
A part-time position working 16 -20 hours per week.
