About the Role We are looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead Cafe Francois and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee all aspects of daily operations, manage and motivate the team, drive revenue growth, and ensure the highest standards of customer service, compliance, and operational excellence.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong commercial awareness and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the venue
Lead, coach, and develop front-of-house and back-of-house teams
Drive sales, profitability, and business performance
Maintain exceptional customer service standards
Manage staffing levels, rotas, recruitment, and training
Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and food hygiene regulations
Monitor budgets, stock control, and labour costs
Build positive relationships with guests, suppliers, and stakeholders
Handle customer feedback professionally and effectively
Requirements Previous experience as a General Manager or AGM in a fast paced Restaurant.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
Commercially minded with experience managing budgets and KPIs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of UK hospitality compliance and licensing regulations
Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
