Job post summary Date posted: 18 May 2026 Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year Job Description: QUANTITY SURVEYOR – CIVIL ENGINEERING Location: Brigg Salary: 50k-60k An opportunity has become available for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a busy commercial team working across a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. The role will involve overseeing the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring commercial performance and cost control throughout delivery. Key Responsibilities Managing the commercial aspects of civil engineering projects Preparing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts Managing subcontractor accounts, variations and payments Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasting Identifying and managing commercial risks Supporting operational teams with commercial guidance Managing change control and contractual matters Producing regular commercial reports for senior management Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering Strong background within civils/infrastructure projects essential Experience across highways, drainage, earthworks, utilities or RC structures preferred Good understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts Strong commercial and contractual awareness Excellent communication and organisational skills Full UK Driving Licence Package Competitive salary package Long-term opportunity with ongoing project work Supportive team environment Genuine progression opportunities Immediate starts available.
