Temporary Chef - Reading

Location: Reading (RG6)

Pay Rate: £15.21 per hour

Shift Pattern: Flexible / Ad-hoc

Are you an experienced Cook or Chef looking for flexible hours and competitive pay? We are currently recruiting for reliable Chefs to join a kitchen team based within a large warehouse facility in the RG6 area of Reading.

• Preparing and cooking wholesome hot and cold meals for warehouse staff on site.

• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and food safety standards.

• Assisting with daily kitchen setup, food prep, stock rotation, and station management.

• Ensuring smooth and efficient meal service during peak break times.

• Proven experience working as a Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Assistant in a commercial or volume catering environment.

• Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Food Safety Level 2 or equivalent preferred).

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and allergen management.

• Punctual, hard-working, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

• Reliable transportation to travel to Reading RG6.
