Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire, UK Contract Type: Temporary Duration: 2-month contract starting 7th June 2026 Hours: Approx. 50 hours per week (mainly MondayFriday, with occasional weekend shifts during busy event periods) Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour
About the Role: We are advertising on behalf of a high-end contract catering company specialising in fresh food and fine dining, seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their Lincoln-based operation, delivering Rosette-level food in both a production kitchen and at prestigious UK events, primarily in London.
Key Responsibilities: Assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen

Preparing and delivering fresh, high-quality dishes to Rosette standards

Working within both the production kitchen and at off-site events

Maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency

Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen team members

Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times

Travelling to events across the country as required, predominantly in London

What We're Looking For: Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a fresh food, fine dining, Rosette, or high-end events environment

Strong knowledge of fresh ingredient preparation and modern cooking techniques

Experience working in busy production kitchens and event catering operations

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to adapt to varying workloads and event schedules

A positive attitude and willingness to travel when required

Reliable, professional, and capable of performing under pressure

What's on Offer: £18.00 per hour, paid weekly

Approximately 50 hours per week
