Site ManagerSite Manager - Social Housing RetrofitAs Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of social housing retrofit and compliance works across occupied properties throughout the Croydon area.Working closely with operational teams, residents, subcontractors, and client stakeholders, you will ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, including:Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) WorksEICR Remedial WorksKitchen ReplacementsBathroom ReplacementsAssociated Planned Maintenance and Retrofit WorksKey ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day delivery of works across multiple occupied social housing properties.Ensure all projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.Coordinate and manage subcontractors, direct labour, and supply chain partners.Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and quality checks.Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, clients, and stakeholders.Monitor programme performance and proactively resolve site issues.Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.What We're Looking ForWe are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record delivering planned works, retrofit, or compliance projects within the social housing sector.The successful candidate will be capable of hitting the ground running, managing occupied properties, and maintaining high standards of customer service while delivering works safely and efficiently.Experience working for, or alongside, a Tier 1 contractor would be highly advantageous.Essential ExperiencePrevious Site Management experience within the social housing sector.Experience delivering planned maintenance, retrofit, or compliance works.Exposure to FRA, EICR, kitchen, and bathroom programmes.Experience managing works within occupied residential environments.Strong subcontractor and site team management skills.Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management abilities.Strong health and safety awareness.QualificationsSMSTS.CSCS Card.Full UK Driving Licence.Why Join Us?Join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of social housing work.Play a key role in delivering essential improvement works for residents.Manage a varied portfolio of FRA, EICR, kitchen, bathroom, and retrofit projects.Work within a supportive and experienced operational team.Car allowance, pension, and benefits package.Given the nature of this position, you will need to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) at offer stage.
