Building Services Engineer

As part of the Services Team, you will play a key role in coordinating essential building systems from design through installation, commissioning, and project completion. About the Role The Services Engineer will work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Teams, Consultants, and Subcontractors to ensure all building services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be involved in the coordination and delivery of systems including: • Electrical • Mechanical & HVAC • Plumbing & Hydraulic Services • Fire Protection Systems • Security Systems • Vertical Transport • Mechanical Ventilation • Digital Engineering & Building Services Coordination Key Responsibilities • Coordinate building services design and onsite delivery • Assist with services coordination and technical problem-solving • Conduct site inspections and monitor quality standards • Coordinate shop drawings, procurement tracking, and project documentation • Assist with commissioning activities and project handovers • Review and evaluate subcontractor performance and contract variations • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and building codes • Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and external authorities • Support project programming, procurement, and defect rectification activities • Assist in maintaining high standards across all services installations What We’re Looking For • Relevant qualification or trade background in Building Services, Construction, or Engineering • Approximately 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction environments • Strong understanding of commissioning, design coordination, and building services systems • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively within project teams • Sound knowledge of engineering principles and construction processes • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project Key Skills • Strong attention to detail • Problem-solving and coordination abilities • Effective stakeholder communication • Ability to negotiate and manage outcomes • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement • Positive team-focused attitude with a growth mindset Why Join Us? • Work on exciting and technically challenging projects • Be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment • Career development and progression opportunities • Exposure to innovative construction technologies and systems • Competitive salary and benefits package If you’re looking to grow your career in building services and contribute to major construction projects, we’d love to hear from you
