About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to join our client's team on a contract basis in London. This is an opportunity to support a large-scale programme within the education sector, contributing to the design and delivery of scalable solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem. If you enjoy hands-on development, working closely with stakeholders, and delivering practical outcomes, this could be a strong fit.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
Power Platform Development: Strong experience across Power Apps (including model-driven apps), Power Automate, portal pages, solutions, and plugins.
Security Configuration: Experience designing and implementing complex, role-based security models within Power Apps.
Full Stack Development: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and C#, supporting both front-end and back-end development.
Integration: Experience integrating with third-party services using APIs.
Azure DevOps: Familiar with managing development pipelines and deployments.
Data Management: Solid understanding of SQL, database design, and data modelling.
Documentation: Ability to produce clear functional specifications and technical solution design documents.
Key Expectations
Agile Delivery: Contribute to incremental, iterative delivery within an agile environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with existing squads and stakeholders to align on delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate clearly and proactively across technical and non-technical teams.
Hands-On Development: Actively contribute to development, including pair programming with junior team members.
Quality Assurance: Test solutions, identify issues, and resolve defects.
User Support: Provide support during hypercare to ensure a smooth transition into business use.
Documentation: Maintain strong documentation to support long-term sustainability and handover.
Contract Details
Day Rate: £500 per day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Location: Greater London
Onsite Requirement: Yes, non-negotiable
Start Date: Mid to end of July
Interview Timeline: Late June
