Export/Import Administrator Hams Hall, Coleshill 08:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday Circa £31,000 plus benefits If you would like to work for a busy transport business where no one day will be the same and you will have ongoing training & development, this is the perfect export/import role for you. Great company, great team and really great location. Job role / duties Prepare and process import and export documentation. Coordinate shipments with hauliers, freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers and customers. Assist with customs clearance and ensure documentation meets all relevant requirements. Monitor and track shipments, providing timely updates where required. Check the accuracy of commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and related paperwork. Maintain accurate records of shipments and customs documentation. Liaise with internal departments to ensure the smooth movement of goods. Investigate and resolve delivery, documentation and shipment issues. Ensure all import and export procedures comply with company policies and applicable regulations. Provide general administrative support to the Transport Operations and Planning Manager and wider logistics team To be considered for this role you MUST: Possess experience in an import and export, freight forwarding, customs, shipping or logistics role. Understand import and export procedures and documentation. Be an excellent coordinator and administrator. Have excellent verbal & written communication skills. Be highly organised, able to prioritise and work well under pressure. Have proven ability using Microsoft Office Be professional, reliable and have a proactive approach.
