Senior Consultant – Expert Witness (Architecture) C £65,000 - £85,000 plus bonus, pension and benefitsLondon, UK North Gate is proud to be supporting a highly respected consultancy with a strong presence in the technical dispute resolution and expert witness market. It is primarily focused on providing specialist Architectural and design related dispute resolution support and advice to solicitors, builders and project stakeholders. This opportunity is suitable for an ambitious Architect who is interested to move into the area of Dispute Resolution. It will enable them to work alongside experts in this field and develop skills in litigation support, claims analysis and expert witness. The successful candidate should have a min of 5 years’ in private practice, be able to demonstrate extensive experience in the design and construction of a wide range of building types, boast good technical knowledge and excellent analytical skills.Registered Architect / RIBADegree qualified ideally with additional qualifications in Law or an interest in doing theseInterested in dispute resolution and Expert Witness consultancyExperience in the technical aspects of architectural design, production info and specificationsExperience with construction contracts, NEC, JCT, FIDIC etc.Experience on site overseeing design management and value engineeringVery good written and verbal English language skillsAnalytical approach to problems, an enquiring mind.Knowledge of the legal process - construction lawExperience of construction dispute resolution an advantageThis is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to join this exceptional growing specialist business.
