We are working on behalf of a highly regarded, Outstanding Ofsted-rated primary school in the Paddington (W9) area to recruit a passionate and skilled SENCO to join their exceptional team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a nurturing and inclusive school environment that places pupil wellbeing and achievement at the heart of everything it does.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage the provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

  • Develop, implement, and review SEN policies and strategies in line with current legislation

  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure effective differentiation and inclusive practice

  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to support pupil progress and wellbeing

  • Monitor and track student progress, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place

  • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff on SEND best practice

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Proven experience working as a SENCO or in a senior SEND role within a primary setting

  • National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it)

  • Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • A genuine commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for all pupils
