Applicants should have a minimum of two years’ teaching experience and strong subject knowledge across Design and Technology. The successful Head of DT may specialise in Food Tech, Textiles, Resistant Materials, or Product Design, but must be confident across all areas of the curriculum.
The school has a thriving sixth form, with many students progressing to Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. This provides an exciting opportunity for the successful Head of DT to teach Product Design at A-Level and support students aiming for top destinations.
The role will include:

• Leading the DT department strategically and academically
• Teaching DT across KS3, KS4, and Product Design at A-Level
• Supporting curriculum development across all DT specialisms
• Driving strong GCSE outcomes and sixth form progression
• Coaching and developing staff within the department
