HGV Class 2 Driver Pallet work

Job Title : HGV Class 2 Driver Location : Purfleet Basic Salary : £20 per hour Employment Type : Temp/Temp Ongoing Job Description : We are currently looking for reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established pallet distribution company based in Purfleet. This is a multi-drop role involving the delivery of palletised goods using curtain side and box side vehicles. A pump trolley will be provided, and some loads may be forklifted out upon delivery.

Key Responsibilities : Carry out daily vehicle checks before and after shifts
Secure loads safely and correctly before transportation
Follow planned delivery routes and maintain timely schedules
Report any incidents, vehicle issues, or delays to both the client and REC Source
Ensure full compliance with Tachograph and driver hours regulations
Safely operate a pump trolley for deliveries where required

Requirements : Full UK Driving Licence with a valid Class 2 (Category C) entitlement, held for at least 3 months.
No more than 6 penalty points on licence
Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph Card

Pay Rates : PAYE Rate:
£15.50 per hour
Umbrella Rate:
£19.38 per hour
LTD Rate:
£20 per hour
