Location: Weston-Super-mare

Hours: Full-time 08:30 - 15:30 (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £90 - £110 per day

Start: ASAP

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant / Grad TA to join an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' primary school in Weston-Super-mare.

This is a full-time role supporting pupils throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom, helping them to flourish academically, socially and emotionally within a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is valued.

The school is highly regarded within the local community and prides itself on creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both pupils and staff. It offers bright, modern classrooms, excellent facilities and high-quality resources, all supported by a friendly, dedicated and collaborative team who are passionate about making a real difference every day.

The Role:

  • Graduate Teaching Assistant / Grad TA
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and social development

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic track record
  • Has previous experience working with children in a primary school setting
  • Is patient, reliable and passionate about supporting young learners
  • Can work effectively as part of a team
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
