• Salary: £40,548 to £47,939 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting

We are seeking a Course Team Leader to lead the coordination and continuous development of the curriculum across GCSE and Functional Skills English programmes. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who is passionate about English education and curriculum development.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach across a range of GCSE and Functional Skills English programmes.
• Play a central role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of provision.
• Work closely with the Section Manager to support quality assurance activities, including course health checks and external verification.
• Contribute to the design and development of an engaging curriculum that incorporates extracurricular activities and meaningful employer engagement.
• Lead and mentor a team of educators, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in curriculum development and quality assurance.
• Ability to design and implement innovative teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development.
