We are recruiting a Junior Sous Chef to join an exceptional 3AA Rosette country house hotel in the beautiful Lake District near Ambleside, offering an outstanding opportunity within a refined and quality-led kitchen.

As Junior Sous Chef, you will support the senior kitchen team in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping lead service while maintaining standards across all sections.
You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, contributing to menu development, supporting junior chefs, and ensuring consistency throughout service.
Duties:
Support the running of the kitchen during service
Lead sections and assist in supervising the brigade
Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation
Help train and develop junior chefs
Assist with menu development and seasonal changes
Ensure excellent hygiene and kitchen organisation standards
