Overview
Ready to make a difference in travel insurance?
Gallagher is looking for a Travel Recovery Claims Handler to join our in house legal team, Strata Solicitors. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in claims, insurance, legal services or financial services.
You'll join a supportive team, learning how travel related recovery claims are managed from initial notification through to resolution, while delivering excellent service to customers and stakeholders.
How you'll make an impact
Managing new claims on our system and carrying out initial checks
Gathering information and documentation to support claim progression
Communicating with customers, insurers, solicitors and other third parties
Keeping claim records accurate and up to date
Handling correspondence and administrative tasks in a timely manner
Supporting the wider team to ensure claims are progressed efficiently
Working in line with company processes, service standards and regulatory requirements
About You
5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
Previous experience handling travel claims, personal injury claims, liability claims, recovery claims or insurance claims is essential
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence speaking to a range of stakeholders
Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
Well organised, self motivated and able to manage priorities effectively
Ability to review evidence, assess liability and negotiate outcomes where appropriate
Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem solving
