Stockland Green School is seeking to appoint an exceptional and driven Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team. This is a pivotal role focused on shaping and sustaining outstanding standards in behaviour, culture and ethos, while driving improvements in attendance and ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding across the school.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership on behaviour, culture and ethos, embedding high expectations and consistency across the school.
- Lead robust systems to improve attendance, ensuring barriers to learning are identified and addressed effectively.
- Oversee safeguarding provision, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and promoting a strong safeguarding culture.
- Drive a positive, inclusive school culture that supports student wellbeing, personal development and academic success.
- Line manage key pastoral and inclusion staff, ensuring accountability and impact.
- Provide strategic oversight of the school’s Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme, ensuring high-quality provision and strong student outcomes.
- Have strategic oversight for the school’s enrichment programme, including trips, clubs, and wider personal development opportunities, ensuring strong student engagement and participation.
- Oversee SMSC, PSHE, and RSE provision, working with curriculum leaders to ensure a coherent and effective programme that supports students’ personal development and wellbeing.
- Work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to deliver whole-school improvement priorities.

- Demonstrate strong expertise in behaviour management, pastoral systems and safeguarding.
- Have a clear vision for creating a culture of high expectations and mutual respect.
- Be highly organised, resilient and able to lead change effectively.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
