An excellent opportunity has arisen for a

Production Manager

to lead the night shift machining team. This role is heavily focused on

people management , ensuring the team is motivated, supported and working efficiently to meet production targets. The company is open to experienced Production Managers, as well as ambitious

Team Leaders or Supervisors

from a CNC machining background who are ready to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate and develop the night shift production team. Ensure production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules are achieved. Manage day-to-day shop floor activities across CNC milling operations. Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Support training and development of operators and setters. Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout the department. Work closely with planning, quality and senior management to ensure smooth production. Drive a positive team culture and effectively manage performance where required. About You

Previous experience in a Production Manager, Team Leader or Supervisor role within precision engineering. Strong people management and leadership skills are essential. Background in CNC machining, ideally CNC milling. Able to organise workloads and prioritise production effectively. A proactive approach with excellent communication skills. Passionate about developing people and improving shop floor performance. Experience within a machining environment producing complex precision components would be advantageous. What's on Offer
