Day Shift Engineer Docklands, East London £50,500 + Overtime + Bonus + Excellent Benefits We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Day Shift Engineer to join a leading facilities and engineering company based in Docklands, East London. The Role: As a Day Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of building services systems within a high-profile commercial environment. You will work as part of a professional engineering team ensuring all plant and equipment operates efficiently and safely. Shift Pattern: * 4 on / 4 off * Days only * 7:00am – 7:00pm Key Responsibilities: * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) * Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns * Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems * Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures * Working on HVAC, lighting, pumps, motors, and general building services equipment * Completing maintenance reports and documentation accurately Requirements: * Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management * Electrically or mechanically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) * Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience * Good communication skills and a proactive attitude * Ability to work effectively within a team environment Package & Benefits: * Salary: £50,500 * Overtime readily available * Annual bonus scheme * Brilliant pension scheme * Private healthcare * 20 days shift leave * Bank holidays off * Ongoing training & development * Excellent career progression opportunities * Stable and supportive working environment This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking to join a reputable company that genuinely invests in its staff and offers excellent long-term prospects.
