What You'll Be Doing Hands‑on plant maintenance - hydraulics, mechanical, electrical, fault‑finding, servicing. Running the yard - organising machinery, vehicles, equipment, and daily operations. Planning the workload - you decide what gets done first and how the yard flows. Diagnostics & repairs - you remain the technical expert on the ground. Safety leadership - ensuring the yard runs safely and professionally. Stock & parts control - managing inventory and ordering what's needed. Supporting operators & drivers - you're the go‑to problem solver. Improving processes - spotting inefficiencies and fixing them.
