An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Chef to join a private household near Harrogate, North Yorkshire, as a Private Chef. This is a live-out position, so candidates must reside within a commutable distance and be seeking a long-term role.
Our client is open to considering candidates with prior Private Chef experience or those transitioning from a top-level restaurant background. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a friendly household environment, catering to a family and occasional guests.
As a Private Chef, your key duties will include:
Menu Planning - Designing creative, seasonal, and nutritious menus tailored to the familys preferences and dietary requirements.
Ingredient Sourcing - Procuring high-quality, local, and seasonal ingredients
Meal Preparation - Preparing and presenting meals for the family, including lunch and dinner, as well as catering for occasional guests and events.
Kitchen Maintenance - Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
Flexibility - Adapting to the familys schedule, including some weekend work.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Proven experience as a Private Chef or in a high-end restaurant environment.
A passion for creating flavourful, creative, and beautifully presented dishes.
Strong knowledge of health-conscious and seasonal cooking.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
A valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.
