We are seeking a hands-on, operational Sous Chef to join our team in Marylebone, paying up to £43,000!

You'll working alongside another Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations across both retail and hospitality environments. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior Sous Chef looking to take the next step in their career, gaining hands-on operational experience and expanding their leadership responsibilities.
What you'll be doing as a Sous Chef:
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Oversee stock management and ordering to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
Contribute to menu development, including pricing, seasonal updates, and menu engineering.
Support, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff.
Flexibly assist across retail, hospitality, and production kitchens as required.
Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene standards. Driving the kitchen team to ensure high levels of cleanliness.
What you'll need to succeed as a Sous Chef:
A junior Sous Chef ready to take on more responsibility.
Previous experience in contract catering, events, or production kitchens is highly desirable.
Proven track record in kitchen operations, including ordering, inventory management, and menu planning.
Ability to manage teams and work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Strong pastry skills or a background in pastry is considered a significant advantage.
Experience across both retail and hospitality settings is highly valued.
Creative flair in menu design and presentation.
