A well-established gastro pub business within a major hospitality group known for quality food, strong locations, and neighbourhood pubs with personality.
This particular site sits in affluent North London with huge potential but strong local competition. Its currently trading around £14k per week but has clear scope to reach £2025k with the right leadership, consistency, and community engagement.
Food leads the business (c.60%), with a fresh, seasonal menu supported by central development and local specials. The venue spans two floors with private hire opportunities and substantial outside space thats currently underutilised.
A light refurbishment is planned with further investment linked directly to performance. In short: the foundations are there, but it needs the right General Manager to unlock them.
What Youll Get Up To
Take full ownership of a food-led gastro pub with turnaround potential
Rebuild stability, standards, and culture within the front-of-house team
Partner closely with a newly appointed Head Chef to drive consistency
Grow sales through community engagement, events, and local marketing
Develop an Assistant Manager and leadership pipeline
Deliver strong labour control, compliance, and KPI performance
Create a business plan and execute a clear strategy for growth
Reposition the site within a highly competitive local market

What Youll Bring
Proven General Manager experience (not a first-time GM step-up)
Background in gastro pub, premium pub, or strong food-led hospitality
Track record of driving sales, improving performance, or turning around sites
Strong people leadership standards delivered through coaching, not fear
Commercial awareness across labour, costs, and profitability
Community mindset with energy to build local reputation
Resilience and ownership mentality
