Locations: Winsford, CW7
Salary: £16/hour + £65 per sleep-in
Rota: 2 days on, 4 days off
Contract: Full-time (includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins)
About the Role
Our client provides specialist residential care for children affected by emotional and behavioural difficulties due to neglect, abuse, or trauma. They are looking for a skilled SeniorResidential Care Worker to help lead care teams and support young people in their Cheshire homes.
Key Responsibilities
Support and safeguard young people, acting as a positive role model
Supervise care staff and manage daily operations
Plan and lead shifts, ensuring quality care delivery
Attend reviews and represent young peoples interests
Assist with recruitment, training, and staff development
Deputise for the Registered or Deputy Manager when needed
Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People Workforce (or equivalent)
Experience in residential childcare and team supervision
Strong knowledge xwzovoh of care regulations and safeguarding
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence (desirable)
Level 4/5 qualifications or therapeutic experience (desirable)
