Signature Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a London-based higher education provider to recruit an Assessments Officer on a permanent basis.

This full-time, office-based role is based in London across two campuses, offering a salary of £32,000 – £35,000. You will join a busy Registry team, playing a key role in delivering assessment and progression processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a high-quality student experience. Int his role, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment where attention to detail and communication are highly valued. Assessments Officer - Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and timely assessment and progression administration
  • Support assessment and internal boards, including scheduling and documentation
  • Record and manage mitigating circumstances in line with regulations
  • Liaise with academic staff to support assessment processes
  • Identify and resolve complex assessment-related queries
  • Contribute to improvements in processes and service delivery

Assessments Officer - Key Skills:

  • Experience working within higher education, ideally in assessments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good Excel skills and confidence working with data
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with academics

This role would suit someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and confident managing competing priorities. You will be proactive, adaptable, and able to deliver a high standard of service while working collaboratively across teams.
