We are seeking a Nursery Room leader for the Baby room. Please only apply if you have a minimum level 3 childcare qualification alongside experience as a practitioner or room leader. This is for a term time only contract working full time hours on a permanent basis.

To plan, prepare all staff, learn as well as participate in activities that stimulate the interest of the children. It is crucial to take the Equal Opportunities policy as well as any issues of diversity into account. An awareness of how skills and knowledge of books and all of the play materials in the nursery environment develop and celebrate diversity amongst the children within the local community. We require an individual to work independently on their own initiative at times with the support of the Deputy and Manager. The ability to communicate both verbally as well as in writing form with the children, parents and external agencies. Able to supervise and delegate staff appropriately, with the awareness of legislation requirements. Maintaining routines is essential. To work flexibly in response to service demands. To respond to reasonable requests and carry out duties as requested for the smooth running of the nursery. To take pride in our environment.
