Are you an experienced Exams Officer looking for new opportunities in Birmingham?
Winner Education are seeking a diligent and organised Exams Officer to join fantastic secondary school in the Erdington area of Birmingham. This is a temporary, full-time position (part time considered for the right person), ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring smooth and compliant examination processes in a busy school environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the administration and invigilation of internal and external examinations in line with JCQ regulations
Liaise with awarding bodies to manage entries, amendments, and special consideration requests
Coordinate exam timetables, room allocations, and invigilator rotas
Support pupils with access arrangements and ensure all reasonable adjustments are in place
Maintain accurate records and produce reports for SLT on examination outcomes and compliance
The successful Exams Officer will have:
Previous experience in an exams officer or school administration role (previous used SIMS Nova-T6)
A thorough understanding of JCQ regulations and examination procedures
DBS on the update service
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training can be provided)
