Befriending Volunteer

We have a voluntary opportunity available to support a gentleman in the Stanway area.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

About the Role: Provide regular face-to-face visits to a gentleman in his own home.

This gentleman has a keen interest in music and word searches.

he can be quite shy at times so needs someone who can engage him in conversation Key Duties: Offer companionship, conversation, and a listening ear to improve someone's wellbeing, support with household tasks, shopping and cooking What Youll Need: A friendly, reliable, and compassionate approach.

Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check (arranged/paid for by the organisation).
