Year 4 Teacher

• Location: Plymstock, Plymouth
• Job Type: Long-term, full-time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly primary school in the Plymstock area. This long-term position is available until July and involves full teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation, and marking. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing a classroom and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach a Year 4 class full-time, Monday to Friday.
• Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, and assessment.
• Establish and maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment.
• Work closely with school staff and senior leaders to ensure a cohesive educational experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4.
• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule until July.
• Confident classroom presence with high expectations for both behaviour and learning.
