Long-Term Maths Teacher – Secondary School (Reading)

Location: ReadingPosition: Long-Term Maths TeacherContract: Long-term (with potential to extend)Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Reading on a long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys delivering engaging Maths lessons and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for suitable candidates)
• Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
• Assessing, marking, and tracking student progress
• Contributing positively to the Maths department and wider school life
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS/QTLS (or be an ECT)
• Have experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be enthusiastic, reliable, and committed
• Be able to build positive relationships with students and staff
