Hire Desk Coordinator

Hire Desk Controller  £26,000 - £30,000 P/A  Havant  Full time | Permanent | Monday to Friday  *Add 1st question relevant to the job* *Add 2nd question relevant to the job* Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider. We are currently recruiting for a Hire Desk Controller to join their team. The main purpose of this Hire Desk Controller role is to support the hire function, responding proactively to business needs.  In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £30,000 P/A, depending on experience. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday.  Reporting to the Service Manager your responsibilities will include: Acting as a main point of contact for customers hiring equipment through the business  Coordinating the hire process, handling enquiries, quotes, availability, delivery, installations, off-hiring, collections, etc.  Monitoring fleet availability and fuel management for the equipment on hire Creating job requests for schedule planned servicing, callouts, and remedial works Arranging replacements for equipment which is faulty, damaged, lost, or stolen Identifying opportunities to maximise hire orders and producing relevant quotations.  The ideal candidate: Must have previous hire desk or account management experience from a fast-paced environment  Will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Will be customer-focused, a team player and have excellent self-motivation Must have some understanding of creating quotations, placing orders, or understanding hire agreements.  For more information on our Hire Desk Coordinator role, please contact Abby in the Attega Group offices today
