As a Pensions Officer in the Pensions team, you’ll be encouraged to bring your whole self to work, contribute your ideas, and grow your career in a place that values you.Reimagine the possibilities.Do you have good customer service skills? Would you like to work in an incredibly varied, challenging and rewarding role? Do you have a broad working knowledge and understanding of pensions standards and relevant procedures? Your role and responsibilitiesYou will assist in the provision of a proactive, efficient and effective pensions service while being responsible for creating and maintaining accurate records through to the calculation and payment of benefits in line with the relevant legislation. Carrying out a range of pensions administration duties within guidelines, including performing calculations and accurate checking of pension records by using procedures, legislation, policies and technical knowledge.Calculating the whole range of individual pension and related entitlements.Ensuring the pension service to customers is accurate, timely and complies with relevant legislation.Providing clear written and verbal information to customers and clients.You will needthe ability to work to a high degree of accuracy effective and demonstrable communication, organisational and time management skillsto be able to remain calm under pressure and always meet deadlinesto positively embrace changes to working practices and requirements.You can view a full list of requirements in the Job and Person Profile (JPP), which you can find in the ‘How to apply’ section towards the bottom of this advert.  If you believe you can succeed in this role, apply.
