Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants Needed – Reigate (Secondary SEN School)

We are working closely with a specialist secondary SEN school in Reigate and are looking to recruit experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for both full-time roles and flexible day-to-day cover.

Due to ongoing demand, there are long-term opportunities available immediately, and the school is keen to build a reliable pool of staff for regular cover.

The Role

You will be supporting students with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning and develop both academically and socially. This may include working 1:1 or in small groups, as well as assisting with classroom activities and behaviour support.

Working Pattern (Full-Time)

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • Start time: 8:15am
  • Finish times:
    • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 4:45pm
    • Tuesday: 5:00pm
    • Friday: 4:00pm

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is required
  • Confident supporting students with additional needs
  • Calm, adaptable, and committed approach
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
