Primary School Teaching Assistant (SEN Experience Preferred)

Location: Chatham, Kent Start Date: Immediate Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting a Primary School Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Gillingham. This is an immediate start opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic TA, ideally with SEN experience.

The Role

• Supporting pupils in class on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assisting children with additional needs (including SEN) to access learning
• Supporting the teacher with classroom activities and behaviour management
• Helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
• SEN experience (highly desirable)
• Holds a current DBS on the Update Service (essential)
• Patient, nurturing, and adaptable
• Strong communication and xwzovoh teamwork skills
