KS1 Teacher | Long Term Role | Paid to Scale | September Start (or sooner)
If you’re a KS1 teacher who’s tired of walking into chaos, lack of support, or unrealistic expectations — this role will feel very different.
We’re working with a well-run primary school in West London that is looking for a strong KS1 Teacher to join them on a long-term basis. The school is ready to interview immediately and can offer trial days so you can see the environment before committing.
What you’ll walk into:
• A settled KS1 class with consistent routines already in place • Full-time TA support in the classroom • A visible and hands-on SLT who deal with behaviour • Shared planning across the year group — you’re not doing everything alone • A school that focuses on teaching, not unnecessary admin
What the school is looking for:
• A confident KS1 Teacher (ECTs considered with strong placements) • Good knowledge of phonics (Little Wandle or similar) • Someone who can build relationships quickly and keep learning purposeful • Reliable, consistent, and wants a role they can settle into
What you’ll get:
• Paid to scale (Outer London MPS/UPS) — no undercutting • Long-term stability with potential to go permanent • A proper handover and support from day one • The chance to trial the school before committing
The reality:
This isn’t a “quick cover” role. The school wants someone who will become part of the team and make a real impact in the classroom.
Next steps:
Interviews and trial days are happening now. The school is ready to appoint as soon as they meet the right teacher. Please apply by sending in your updated CV.
